Today, Eric and I did quite a lot of driving, but stopped at Mesa Verde National Park to explore. I, as you may be, was unfamiliar with this land mass before today. Spanish for “green table,” Mesa Verde is a large mountain with trees and shrubs spread throughout and a large flat top. It was home to the Ancestral Pueblos from about 600 to 1300 A.D. and their dwellings are still visible throughout the mountain and you can view some of the 600 dwellings still in tact at the park. From here I will let the pictures do the talking.
